About Us

Who we are

The Lilburn chapter of The MOMS (Moms Offering Moms Support) Club is a fun, engaging community offering friendship and support for stay-at-home moms living in or near Lilburn, GA.

Internationally, the MOMS Club has over 2,000 chapters in seven countries. We are the only international support group specifically for all stay-at-home moms, and we’d like you to be a member too! We are a wonderful way to meet other moms and a fun way for your child to meet other children!

What we do

  • Monthly meetings with speakers, discussions, and other fun programs!
  • Casual get-togethers in parks and members’ homes!
  • Outings for mothers and their children!
  • Family parties around the holidays or just for fun throughout the year!
  • Playgroups for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school-age children!
  • A variety of special interest activities like crafting sessions, book club, cooking lessons, and stroller-walking groups! The activities are as varied as the interests of the group members!
  • Activities for moms to enjoy when they have a little time away from the kids, including a moms’ night out or moms’ night in every month, moms-only lunches and coffee dates, and card/game nights!
  • Service projects that help enrich our community!
  • Baby showers for expecting moms, and meal trains for moms needing a little extra help!
  • A fun annual banquet!

What makes us special

  • We meet during the day, when stay-at-home moms most need support.
  • We believe being a mother shouldn’t isolate you, so mothers may bring their children with them to the vast majority of events!
  • We know being a stay-at-home mom often means making a financial sacrifice, so dues to your local chapter are only $20 per year.
  • Moms of any age children are welcome. You don’t have to leave the group when your children enter school! We know you still need support as your children grow.
  • We are non-denominational so that we can welcome moms of all backgrounds.
  • Most importantly, we provide a strong support system for each other. Whether it means cheering accomplishments, helping out with a need, or just being there to listen and understand, our goal as a group is to lift each other up!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cost to join?
Our club charges an annual membership fee of $25. This fee covers our operating expenses, donation for meeting space, and other chapter expenses.

Is the MOMS Club affiliated with any religious or political organization?
No. MOMS Club is a non-denominational group and we welcome all moms regardless of their religion, ethnicity, and/or political background!

Can I try out the club without joining?
Sure! Contact us at lilburnmoms@gmail.com to get a schedule of events available for prospective members to try.

What area does MOMS Club of Lilburn include?
Our chapter serves moms who live in Lilburn, Georgia and the following areas: the Gwinnett County portion of Stone Mountain, and the portion of Lawrenceville that is south of Ronald Reagan Parkway. Our events take place mainly in Gwinnett County, but we sometimes venture out into other parts of Metro Atlanta or North Georgia.

I live near your area – in Norcross or Tucker – can I still join?
Unfortunately, one of the rules designated by MOMS Club International is that chapters cannot accept members who live outside their designated area. However, we would be happy to help you start up a new chapter if there is not one in your area by helping with a website, fliers, and joint events. If you are interested in talking to us about this, please let us know. To find out if there is already a chapter in your area, see http://www.momsclub.org/blog/find-a-chapter/

Are children welcome at all activities and events?
Of course! Children are welcome at all MOMS Club events except moms’ night out, moms’ night in, and JUMP (Just Us Moms Playing). Even then, infants are allowed.

When are your meetings?
Our general meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month. Please contact us at lilburnmoms@gmail.com for more info.
